4,096 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 388,184.
3,966 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 341,685.
57 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 6,427. 23 of these deaths were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, 7 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 7 in Marrakech-Safi, 7 in Fès-Meknès, 5 in Souss-Massa, 3 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 2 in l'Oriental, 1 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 1 in Drâa-Tafilalet and 1 in Guelmim-Oued Noun.
The country has 40,072 active cases, including 945 in critical conditions. 82 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 1,620 infections: 1,364 in Casablanca, 47 in El Jadida, 46 in Mohammedia, 45 in Berrechid, 42 in Nouaceur, 34 in Settat, 23 in Sidi Bennour, 10 in Mediouna and 9 cases in Benslimane. Next is Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, with 833 cases: 236 in Salé, 181 in Skhirat-Témara, 165 in Kénitra, 104 in Rabat, 84 in Khemisset, 47 in Sidi Kacem and 16 cases in Sidi Slimane.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma follows with 406 new cases: 187 in Tanger-Assilah, 62 in Tétouan, 52 in Larache, 35 in Al Hoceima, 31 in M'diq-Fnideq, 23 in Chefchaouen, 13 in Ouazzane and 3 in Fahs Anjra. 398 new infections were recorded in Marrakech-Safi: 199 in Marrakech, 61 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 46 in Essaouira, 43 in Chichaoua, 27 in Youssoufia, 12 in Al Haouz, 9 in Safi and 1 case in Rhamna.
Souss-Massa recorded 330 new cases: 88 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 80 in Taroudant, 73 in Inzegane-Aït Melloul, 53 in Tiznit, 25 in Chtouka-Ait Baha and 11 cases in Tata. The Oriental region recorded 117 new infections: 42 in Oujda-Angad, 29 in Nador, 18 in Berkane, 12 in Taourirt, 8 in Driouch, 5 in Jerada and 3 in Guercif.
104 cases were confirmed in Beni-Mellal-Khénifra (47 in Beni Mellal, 21 in Fqih Bensaleh, 20 in Khénifra and 16 in Khouribga), 81 in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (58 in Laâyoune, 11 in Es-Smara, 8 in Boujdour and 4 cases in Tarfaya) and 75 in Fès-Meknes (21 in Fès, 13 in Meknes, 12 in Taza, 11 in Sefrou, 11 in Taounate, 4 in El Hajeb, 2 in Moulay Yacoub and 1 case in Ifrane).
Drâa-Tafilalet recorded 64 new infections (23 in Ouarzazate, 16 in Tinghir, 15 in Errachidia, 8 in Midelt and 2 cases in Zagora), Guelmim-Oued Noun 55 cases (29 in Guelmim, 12 in Assa Zag , 10 in Sidi Ifni and 4 cases in Tan Tan) and 13 in Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
