3,345 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 391,529.
4,249 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 345,934.
65 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 6,492. 17 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 12 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 8 in Souss-Massa, 8 in Fès-Meknès, 6 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 4 in Marrakech-Safi, 3 in Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceïma, 3 in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 3 in Drâa-Tafilalet, 1 in the Oriental, and 1 in Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra.
The country has 39,103 active cases, including 965 in critical conditions. 87 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 1,412 cases: 1,176 in Casablanca, 72 in Berrechid, 51 in Mohammedia, 37 in Nouaceur, 27 in El Jadida, 18 in Benslimane , 17 in Médiouna, 7 in Settat and 7 in Sidi Bennour. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, with 488 cases: 152 in Skhirat-Témara, 116 Salé, 103 in Rabat, 42 in Sidi Kacem, 35 in Sidi Slimane, 22 in Khemisset and 18 in Kénitra.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma follows with 321 infections: 160 in Tanger-Assilah, 66 in Tétouan, 30 in Al Hoceïma, 30 in M'diq-Fnideq, 22 in Larache, 9 in Chefchaouen and 4 in Ouezzane. Souss-Massa has 308 cases: 103 in Inezgane Aït Melloul, 62 in Agadir Ida Ou Tanane, 54 in Taroudant, 48 in Tiznit, 39 in Chtouka Aït Baha and 2 in Tata.
Marrakech-Safi recorded 290 new cases: 204 in Marrakech, 23 in Essaouira, 21 in Kelâa des Sraghna, 13 in Safi, 11 in Chichaoua, 11 in Al Haouz, 4 in Youssoufia and 3 in Rehamna. The Oriental region follows with 178 cases: 40 in Berkane, 36 in Oujda-Angad, 35 in Guercif, 30 in Nador, 12 in Taourirt, 12 in Driouch, 8 in Jerada and 5 in Figuig.
Fès-Meknes recorded 73: 38 in Fez, 12 in Sefrou, 9 in Meknes, 5 in El Hajeb, 4 in Taza, 4 in Boulemane and 1 in Taounate. Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra confirmed 69 cases: 55 in Laâyoune, 8 in Es-Semara and 6 in Boujdour.
Beni Mellal-Khénifra recorded 66 new infections: 25 in Beni Mellal, 20 in Fqih Bensalah, 13 in Khouribga, 6 in Azilal and 2 in Khénifra. Guelmim-Oued Noun has 62: 45 in Guelmim, 10 in Tan Tan and 7 in Sidi Ifni.
In Drâa-Tafilalet, 52 cases were confirmed: 28 in Errachidia, 7 in Midelt, 7 in Tinghir, 5 in Ouarzazate and 5 in Zagora. Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab confirmed 26 new cases, all in Oued Ed-Dahab.
