3,035 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 394,564.
3,887 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 349,821.
50 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 6,542. 16 of these deaths were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, 6 in the Oriental, 6 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 5 in Souss-Massa, 5 in Marrakech-Safi, 4 in Drâa-Tafilalet 3 in Fès-Meknès , 2 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 2 in Beni Mellal Khénifra and 1 death in Guelmim-Oued Noun.
The country has 38,201 active cases, including 982 in critical conditions. 80 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 1,133 infections: 827 in Casablanca, 81 in Mohammedia, 57 in Nouaceur, 55 in Berrechid, 53 in El Jadida, 29 in Settat, 21 in Mediouna, 6 in Sidi Bennour and 4 cases in Benslimane. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, with 538 cases: 146 in Salé, 126 in Skhirat-Témara, 114 in Kénitra, 73 in Rabat, 34 in Khemisset, 22 in Sidi Kacem and 21 in Sidi Slimane.
Souss-Massa follows with 288 new cases: 83 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 74 in Taroudant, 54 in Inzegane-Aït Melloul, 38 in Chtouka-Ait Baha, 32 in Tiznit and 7 cases in Tata. 286 new infections were recorded in Marrakech-Safi: 191 in Marrakech, 25 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 23 in Essaouira, 13 in Chichaoua, 13 in Youssoufia, 9 in Safi, 7 in Rhamna and 5 cases in the province of 'Al Haouz.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma recorded 266 cases: 112 in Tanger-Assilah, 38 in Tetouan, 36 in Larache, 34 in Al Hoceima, 23 in Ouazzane, 11 in M'diq-Fnideq, 7 in Chefchaouen and 5 cases in Fahs. The Oriental region recorded 108 new infections: 34 in Oujda-Angad, 28 in Nador, 21 in Berkane, 11 in Taourirt, 10 in Driouch, 3 in Guercif and 1 case in Jerada.
100 cases were confirmed in Fès-Meknes (37 in Fès, 20 in Sefrou, 14 in Taounate, 13 in Taza, 10 in Meknès, 3 in Ifrane, 2 in Boulmane and 1 case in Moulay Yacoub), 87 in Beni-Mellal-Khénifra (31 in Beni Mellal, 24 in Khouribga, 17 in Khénifra, 13 in Fqih Bensaleh and 2 cases in Azilal) 78 in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (63 in Laâyoune, 11 in Es-Smara and 4 in Tarfaya).
Guelmim-Oued Noun recorded 68 cases (41 in Guelmim, 12 in Sidi Ifni, 11 in Assa Zag and 4 cases in Tan Tan), Drâa-Tafilalet confirmed 65 new infections (23 in Errachidia, 10 in Ouarzazate, 5 in Midelt and 3 cases in Zagora), 27 infections were found in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
