3,033 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 397,597.
3,277 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 353,098.
47 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 6,589. 15 of these deaths were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, 7 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 6 in the Oriental, 5 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 3 in Souss-Massa, 3 in Marrakech-Safi, 2 Beni Mellal Khénifra 1 to Drâa-Tafilalet, 1 to Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra and 1 Fes-Meknes.
The country has 37,910 active cases, including 1,013 in critical conditions. 101 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 1,239 infections: 948 in Casablanca, 91 in Mohammedia, 59 in Nouaceur, 54 in El Jadida, 45 in Berrechid, 19 in Mediouna, 10 in Benslimane, 8 in Settat and 5 cases in Sidi Bennour. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, with 556 cases: 145 in Salé, 127 in Skhirat-Témara, 84 in Kénitra, 68 in Rabat, 57 in Sidi Kacem, 44 in Khemisset and 31 in Sidi Slimane.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma follows with 342 new cases: 122 in Tanger-Assilah, 71 in Tétouan, 47 in Larache, 44 in Al Hoceima, 39 in M'diq-Fnideq, 14 in Chefchaouen and 5 cases in Ouazzane. 286 new infections were recorded in Souss-Massa: 96 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 72 in Inzegane-Aït Melloul, 57 in Taroudant, 40 in Chtouka-Ait Baha and 21 cases in Tiznit.
Marrakech-Safi confirmed 208 cases: 146 in Marrakech, 18 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 16 in Essaouira, 11 in Chichaoua, 11 in Youssoufia, 4 in Al Haouz, 1 case in Rhamna and another in Safi. Drâa-Tafilalet recorded 85 infections: 52 in Errachidia, 13 in Ouarzazate, 11 in Tinghir, 5 in Zagora and 4 cases in Midelt.
79 cases were recorded in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (68 in Laâyoune, 6 in Es-Smara, 3 in Boujdour and 2 cases in Tarfaya), 69 in Fès-Meknes (29 in Fès, 11 in Meknes, 8 in Sefrou, 7 in Taounate, 6 in Ifrane, 5 in El Hajeb, 2 in Taza and 1 case in Boulmane) as well as 68 in the Oriental region (20 in Nador, 19 in Oujda-Angad, 14 in Berkane, 6 in Jerada, 4 in Guercif, 4 in Taourirt and 1 case in Figuig).
Beni Mellal-Khénifra recorded 47 cases (17 in Beni Mellal, 15 in Fqih Bensaleh, 12 in Khouribga, 2 in Azilal and 1 case in Khénifra), Guelmim-Oued Noun confirmed 39 infections (28 in Guelmim, 7 in Tan Tan, 3 in Sidi Ifni and 1 case in Assa Zag) while 15 infections were confirmed in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
