2,012 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 399,609.
2,925 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 356,023.
35 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 6,624. 7 of these deaths were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, 7 in Souss-Massa, 5 in the Oriental, 4 in Fès-Meknès, 3 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 3 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 2 in Marrakech-Safi, 2 in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra, 1 death in Drâa-Tafilalet and another in Guelmim-Oued Noun.
The country has 36,962 active cases, including 1,038 in critical conditions. 112 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat comes first with 711 infections: 509 in Casablanca, 62 in El Jadida, 55 in Mohammedia, 20 in Berrechid, 19 in Nouaceur, 19 in Sidi Bennour, 19 in Mediouna, 6 in Settat and 5 in Benslimane. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, with 306 cases: 84 in Salé, 83 in Skhirat-Témara, 80 in Rabat, 41 in Kénitra, 14 in Khemisset, 2 in Sidi Kacem and 2 in Sidi Slimane.
Souss-Massa follows with 233 new cases: 93 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 82 in Inzegane-Aït Melloul, 30 in Taroudant, 21 in Tiznit and 7 in Chtouka-Ait Baha. 221 new infections were recorded in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma: 102 in Tanger-Assilah, 42 in Tétouan, 22 in Larache, 17 in Chefchaouen, 16 in M'diq-Fnideq, 10 in Al Hoceima, 10 in Ouazzane and 2 in Fahs Anjra.
Marrakech-Safi confirmed 138 cases: 102 in Marrakech, 12 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 6 in Youssoufia, 6 in Safi, 5 in Essaouira, 4 in Al Haouz, 2 in Rhamna and 1 in Chichaoua. Fès-Meknes recorded 96 new infections: 33 in Fez, 19 in Taounate, 15 in Taza, 12 in Meknes, 7 in Sefrou, 5 in Ifrane, 4 in El Hajeb and 1 in Moulay Yacoub.
75 cases were recorded in Guelmim-Oued Noun (30 in Guelmim, 21 in Tan Tan, 15 in Sidi Ifni and 9 in Assa Zag), 65 in the Oriental region (30 in Nador, 15 in Oujda -Angad, 8 in Jerada, 4 in Berkane, 4 in Taourirt, 2 in Driouch, 1 in Guercif and 1 in Figuig) and 62 in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (47 in Laâyoune, 12 in Es-Smara and 3 in Boujdour).
Drâa-Tafilalet confirmed 60 infections (25 in Ouarzazate, 20 in Errachidia, 9 in Midelt and 6 in Tinghir), Beni Mellal-Khénifra recorded 28 cases (10 in Beni Mellal, 8 in Khouribga, 6 in Khénifra and 4 in Fqih Bensaleh), and 17 infections were confirmed in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
