1,217 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 400,826.
3,042 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 359,065.
35 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 6,659. 12 of these deaths were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, 9 in Marrakech-Safi, 7 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 2 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 2 in the Oriental, 1 in Drâa-Tafilalet, 1 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra and 1 in Guelmim-Oued Noun.
The country has 35,102 active cases, including 1,039 in critical conditions. 114 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat records 370 infections: 288 in Casablanca, 34 in Nouaceur, 34 in El Jadida, 6 in Mediouna, 4 in Mohammedia, 3 in Berrechid and 1 case in Settat. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, with 360 cases: 113 in Kénitra, 89 in Salé, 64 in Rabat, 58 in Skhirat-Témara, 25 in Sidi Slimane, 8 in Sidi Kacem and 3 cases in Khemisset.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma follows with 148 new ones: 49 in Al Hoceima, 43 in Tanger-Assilah, 26 in M'diq-Fnideq, 12 in Chefchaouen, 12 in Ouazzane, 5 in Tétouan and 1 case in Fahs Anjra. 101 new infections were recorded in Souss-Massa: 59 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 21 in Taroudant, 14 in Tiznit, 4 in Chtouka-Ait Baha and 3 cases in Inzegane-Aït Melloul.
Fès-Meknes recorded 75 new infections: 21 in Taza, 20 in Fez, 13 in Meknes, 10 in Sefrou, 6 in El Hajeb and 5 cases in Ifrane. Marrakech-Safi recorded 74 cases: 55 in Marrakech, 8 in Chichaoua, 6 in Youssoufia, 4 in Safi and 1 case in Rhamna.
56 cases were recorded in the Oriental region (28 in Oujda-Angad, 9 in Driouch, 8 in Nador, 5 in Taourirt, 3 in Berkane and 3 in Guercif), 17 in Drâa-Tafilalet (9 in Zagora and 8 in Ouarzazate) and 7 in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
5 cases were recorded in Laâyoune (Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra) while 4 infections were confirmed in Beni-Mellal (Beni Mellal-Khénifra).
