3,351 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 406,970.
3,924 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 366,835.
38 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 6,749. 13 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 9 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 4 in Marrakech-Safi, 4 in Souss-Massa, 3 in the Oriental, 2 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma and 1 in Drâa-Tafilalet.
The country has 33,386 active cases, including 1,087 in critical conditions. 93 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 1,523 cases: 1,144 in Casablanca, 132 in Mohammedia, 84 in El Jadida, 73 in Nouaceur, 32 in Berrechid, 28 in Benslimane , 25 in Médiouna and 5 in Settat. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, with 434 cases: 133 in Skhirat-Témara, 131 Salé, 69 in Kénitra, 56 in Rabat, 24 in Sidi Kacem, 12 in Sidi Slimane and 9 in Khemisset.
Marrakech-Safi recorded 341 new cases: 220 in Marrakech, 48 in Kelâa des Sraghna, 39 in Essaouira, 14 in Chichaoua, 11 in Al Haouz, 4 in Youssoufia, 3 in Rehamna and 2 in Safi. Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma follows with 321 infections: 166 in Tanger-Assilah, 81 in Tétouan, 31 in M'diq-Fnideq, 27 in Larache, 24 in Chefchaouen and 8 in Ouezzane.
The Oriental region follows with 195 cases: 80 in Nador, 40 in Oujda-Angad, 28 in Berkane, 15 in Driouch, 12 in Guercif, 11 in Taourirt, 5 in Jerada and 4 in Figuig. Souss-Massa recorded 193 cases: 62 in Agadir Ida Ou Tanane, 45 in Taroudant, 39 in Inezgane Aït Melloul, 32 in Tiznit and 15 in Chtouka Aït Baha.
Fès-Meknes confirmed 73 cases: 30 in Fez, 14 in Meknes, 13 in Taounat, 7 in Sefrou, 6 in Taza and 3 in Moulay Yacoub. In Drâa-Tafilalet, 71 have been confirmed: 27 in Errachidia, 24 in Ouarzazate, 10 in Midelt, 7 in Tinghir and 3 in Zagora.
Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra confirmed 71 cases: 63 in Laâyoune, 5 in Boujdour and 3 in Es-Semara. Guelmim-Oued Noun recorded 57 cases: 43 in Guelmim, 12 in Sidi Ifni and 2 in Tan Tan.
Beni Mellal-Khénifra confirmed 48 new infections: 21 in Beni Mellal, 15 in Azilal, 8 in Khénifra, 2 in Khouribga and 2 in Fqih Bensalah. Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab recorded 8 new cases, all in Oued Ed-Dahab.
