2,776 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 409,746.
3,163 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 369,998.
55 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 6,804. 12 of these deaths were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, 10 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 9 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 6 in the Oriental, 5 in Fès-Meknès, 5 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 3 in Marrakech-Safi, 2 in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 1 in Souss-Massa, 1 in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra and 1 in Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab.
The country has 32,944 active cases, including 1,096 in critical conditions. 97 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 1,120 infections: 877 in Casablanca, 78 in Mohammedia, 50 in Nouaceur, 45 in Berrechid, 31 in Mediouna, 19 in El Jadida, 14 in Settat and 6 cases in Benslimane. Next comes Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma, with 419 cases: 197 in Tanger-Assilah, 76 in Tétouan, 51 in Al Hoceima, 34 in Larache, 22 in Chefchaouen, 19 in M'diq-Fnideq, 16 in Ouazzane and 4 cases at Fahs Anjra.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra follows with 368 new ones: 132 in Salé, 100 in Skhirat-Témara, 56 in Kénitra, 50 in Rabat, 23 in Khemisset, 4 in Sidi Slimane and 3 cases in Sidi Kacem. 284 new infections were recorded in Marrakech-Safi: 162 in Marrakech, 34 in Essaouira, 22 in Youssoufia, 20 in Safi, 18 in Rhamna, 14 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 8 in Chichaoua and 6 cases in Al Haouz.
Souss-Massa recorded 161 cases: 63 in Inzegane-Aït Melloul, 54 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 18 in Chtouka-Ait Baha, 16 in Tiznit and 5 in Taroudant. The Oriental region recorded 93 infections: 51 in Oujda-Angad, 24 in Nador, 10 in Berkane, 4 in Guercif, 2 in Jerada and 2 in Driouch.
83 cases were confirmed in Fès-Meknes (34 in Fès, 35 in Taza, 10 in Meknes, 4 in Sefrou, 4 in Taounate, 3 in El Hajeb, 2 in Ifrane and 1 case in Moulay Yacoub), 79 in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (all in Laâyoune) as well as 73 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra (19 in Beni Mellal, 17 in Khouribga, 12 in Fqih Bensaleh, 5 in Azilal and 4 in Khénifra).
56 cases were recorded in Guelmim-Oued Noun (33 in Tan Tan, 15 in Guelmim, 7 in Sidi Ifni and 1 in Assa Zag), 67 in Drâa-Tafilalet (26 in Errachidia, 9 in Ouarzazate , 8 in Tinghir, 6 in Midelt and 1 case in Zagora) and 6 in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
