2,833 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 415,226.
2,898 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 375,623.
55 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 6,909. 14 of these deaths were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, 13 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 7 in Marrakech-Safi, 6 in Souss-Massa, 5 in the Oriental region, 5 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma 2 in Fès-Meknes, 2 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra and 1 in Drâa-Tafilale.
The country has 32,694 active cases, including 1,066 in critical conditions. 87 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat comes first, with 1,172 cases: 843 in Casablanca, 100 in Mohammedia, 61 in Berrechid 49 in Nouaceur, 47 in El Jadida, 28 in Médiouna, 26 in Benslimane, 16 in Settat and 2 in Sidi Bennour. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, with 484 cases: 173 in Skhirat-Témara, 129 in Kénitra, 101 in Salé, 44 in Rabat, 15 in Sidi Slimane, 13 in Sidi Kacem and 9 in Khemisset.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma follows with 338 infections: 167 in Tanger-Assilah, 73 in Tétouan, 35 in M'diq-Fnideq, 24 Al Hoceïma, 23 in Larache, 8 in Chefchaouen, 7 in Ouezzane and 1 El Fahs Anjra. Marrakech-Safi recorded 202 new cases: 131 in Marrakech, 30 in Essaouira, 10 in Kelâa des Sraghna, 10 in Rehamna, 8 in Chichaoua, 7 in Safi and 6 in Al Haouz.
Souss-Massa has 184 cases: 59 in Agadir Ida Ou Tanane, 58 in Inezgane Aït Melloul, 20 in Taroudant, 19 in Tiznit, 17 in Chtouka Aït Baha and 11 in Tata. The Oriental region follows with 142 cases: 33 in Oujda-Angad, 28 in Guercif, 23 in Nador, 22 in Taourirt, 16 in Driouch, 16 in Berkane, 2 in Jerada and 2 in Figuig.
Fès-Meknes recorded 90 cases: 42 in Fez, 13 in Taza, 9 in Meknes, 7 in Boulemane, 6 in Taounat, 5 in El Hajeb, 4 in Moulay Yacoub and 4 in Sefrou. Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra confirmed 66 cases: 48 in Laâyoune, 10 in Es-Semara, 5 in Tarfaya and 3 in Boujdour.
In Drâa-Tafilalet, 60 cases were confirmed: 23 in Errachidia, 16 in Ouarzazate, 9 in Midelt, 7 in Zagora and 5 Tinghir. Beni Mellal-Khénifra confirmed 47 new infections: 23 in Fqih Bensalah, 11 in Beni Mellal, 6 in Khénifra, 4 in Khouribga and 3 in Azilal.
Guelmim-Oued Noun recorded 40: 17 in Tan Tan, 12 in Guelmim, 6 in Assa Zag and 5 in Sidi Ifni. Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab recorded 8 new cases, all in Oued Ed-Dahab.
