2,566 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 423,214.
2,970 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 385,895.
56 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 7,086. 30 of these deaths were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, 7 in Marrakech-Safi, 5 in the Oriental, 4 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 4 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 2 in Souss-Massa, 2 in Fès-Meknes, 1 in Drâa-Tafilalet and 1 in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra.
The country has 30,233 active cases, including 934 in critical conditions. 82 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 1,037 infections: 751 in Casablanca, 70 in Mohammedia, 61 in Berrechid, 47 in El Jadida, 34 in Mediouna, 25 in Nouaceur, 21 in Settat, 19 in Benslimane and 9 in Sidi Bennour. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, with 392 cases: 165 in Salé, 143 in Skhirat-Témara, 33 in Kénitra, 28 in Rabat, 9 in Sidi Slimane, 8 in Sidi Kacem and 6 in Khemisset.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma follows with 300 new cases: 157 in Tanger-Assilah, 62 in Tétouan, 40 in M'diq-Fnideq, 22 in Larache, 12 in Al Hoceima, 4 in Ouazzane and 3 in Chefchaouen. 219 new infections were recorded in Marrakech-Safi: 124 in Marrakech, 31 in Essaouira, 18 in Chichaoua, 16 in Safi, 13 in Al Haouz, 11 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 3 in Youssoufia and 3 in the province of Rhamna.
Souss-Massa recorded 190 cases: 64 in Inzegane-Aït Melloul, 58 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 30 in Tiznit, 22 in Taroudant and 16 in Chtouka-Ait Baha. The Oriental region recorded 124 infections: 64 in Oujda-Angad, 27 in Nador, 18 in Berkane, 7 in Driouch, 4 in Jerada, 3 in Taourirt and 1 in Guercif.
73 cases were confirmed in Fès-Meknes (29 in Fès, 12 in Meknes, 12 in Taza, 6 in Sefrou, 5 in Ifrane, 5 in Moulay Yacoub, 3 in Taounate and 1 in Boulmane), 70 in Drâa-Tafilalet (20 in Midelt, 19 in Errachidia, 13 in Tinghir, 9 in Ouarzazate and 9 in Zagora) as well as 68 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra (28 in Fqih Bensaleh, 17 in Beni Mellal, 11 in Azilal , 8 in Khouribga and 4 in Khénifra).
In the south of the kingdom, 48 cases were recorded in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (47 in Laâyoune and 1 in Tarfaya) 42 in Guelmim-Oued Noun (26 in Guelmim, 12 in Tan Tan and 4 in Sidi Ifni) and 3 in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
