2,369 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 430,562.
4,175 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 396,095.
34 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 7,204. 18 of these deaths were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, 6 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 3 in Marrakech-Safi, 2 in Fès-Meknès, 2 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 1 in Souss-Massa, 1 in the Oriental and 1 in Drâa-Tafilalet.
The country has 27,263 active cases, including 1,232 in critical conditions. 113 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat leads the way with 934 infections: 705 in Casablanca, 73 in Mohammedia, 56 in El Jadida, 34 in Nouaceur, 29 in Berrechid, 25 in Mediouna, 8 in Benslimane, 3 in Settat and 1 in Sidi Bennour. Then comes Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma with 390 new cases: 224 in Tanger-Assilah, 54 in Tétouan, 36 in Larache, 24 in Al Hoceima, 24 in M'diq-Fnideq, 13 in Chefchaouen, 10 in Ouazzane and 5 in Fahs Anjra.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra follows with 273 cases: 93 in Salé, 69 in Kénitra, 37 in Skhirat-Témara, 29 in Sidi Kacem, 23 in Rabat, 12 in Slimane and 10 in Khemisset. 201 new infections were recorded in Souss-Massa: 54 in Inzegane-Aït Melloul, 52 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 29 in Tata, 28 in Tiznit, 24 in Taroudant and 14 in Chtouka-Ait Baha.
Marrakech-Safi recorded 185 cases: 100 in Marrakech, 31 in Essaouira, 15 in Youssoufia, 11 in the province of Rhamna, 10 in Safi, 7 in Al Haouz and 2 in Kelaa des Sraghna. The Oriental region recorded 142 infections: 54 in Oujda-Angad, 39 in Nador, 30 in Berkane, 9 in Taourirt, 7 in Guercif and 3 in Driouch.
73 cases were confirmed in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (48 in Laâyoune, 12 in Tarfaya, 11 in Boujdour and 2 in Es-Smara), 68 in Fès-Meknes (32 in Fès, 17 in Taza , 10 in Meknès, 7 in Sefrou, 6 in Taounate and 1 in El Hajeb) as well as 53 in Drâa-Tafilalet (22 in Errachidia, 10 in Midelt, 8 in Ouarzazate, 7 in Tinghir and 6 in Zagora).
25 cases were recorded in Beni Mellal-Khénifra (7 in Fqih Bensaleh, 6 in Beni Mellal, 5 in Khouribga, 4 in Khénifra and 3 in Azilal) 19 in Guelmim-Oued Noun (12 in Guelmim, 4 in Sidi Ifni, 2 in Tan Tan and 1 in Assa Zag) and 1 infection in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
