950 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 433,029.
1,515 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 399,575.
32 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 7,272. 7 of these deaths were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, 5 in Souss-Massa, 4 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 4 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 4 in Marrakech-Safi, 3 in Fès-Meknès, 2 in the Oriental and 2 in Drâa-Tafilalet.
The country has 26,182 active cases, including 1,196 in critical conditions. 103 of them are on ventilators.
The region of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra comes first with 315 infections: 126 in Kénitra, 60 in Salé, 40 in Rabat, 39 in Skhirat-Témara, 22 in Khemisset, 15 in Slimane and 13 in Sidi Kacem. Next comes Casablanca-Settat with 178 new cases: 156 in Casablanca, 8 in El Jadida, 5 in Nouaceur, 4 in Mohammedia, 3 in Berrechid, 1 in Settat and 1 in Mediouna.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma follows with 139 cases: 53 in Tanger-Assilah, 42 in Al Hoceima, 20 in M'diq-Fnideq, 15 in Tétouan, 5 in Ouazzane and 4 in Chefchaouen. In addition, 83 new infections were recorded in Souss-Massa: 59 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 19 in Inzegane-Aït Melloul, 3 in Taroudant and 2 in Tiznit.
Fès-Meknès, for its part, identified 71 cases: 33 in Fès, 18 in Sefrou, 11 in Meknès, 6 in Taza and 3 in Moulay Yacoub. The Oriental region recorded 55 infections: 34 in Oujda-Angad, 7 in Nador, 5 in Berkane, 3 in Driouch, 2 in Guercif, 2 in Jerada, 1 in Figuig and 1 in Taourirt.
There are also 47 confirmed cases in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (27 in Laâyoune, 13 in Boujdour, 5 in Tarfaya and 2 in Es-Smara), 68 cases identified in Marrakech-Safi (24 in Marrakech, 4 in Essaouira) , 3 in Youssoufia, 2 in Rhamna province and 1 in Safi) as well as 18 infections recorded in Beni Mellal-Khénifra (14 in Khouribga, 2 in Fqih Bensaleh, 1 in Beni Mellal and 1 in Azilal).
Lastly, 6 cases were identified in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab), while 3 cases were recorded in Drâa-Tafilalet (2 in Tinghir and 1 in Errachidia) and one infection was recorded in Tan Tan (Guelmim-Oued Noun).
