1,861 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 439,193.
2,253 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 407,504.
33 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 7,388. 14 of these deaths were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, 5 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra 4 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 3 in Marrakech-Safi, 2 in Fès-Meknès, 1 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 1 in Souss-Massa, 1 in the Oriental, 1 in Drâa-Tafilalet and 1 in Guelmim-Oued Noun.
The country has 24,301 active cases, including 1,118 in critical conditions. 103 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 745 infections: 510 in Casablanca, 52 in Mohammedia, 49 in El Jadida, 48 in Nouaceur, 31 in Berrechid, 28 in Settat, 15 in Benslimane and 12 in Mediouna. Next comes Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma with 403 new cases: 240 in Tanger-Assilah, 51 in Tétouan, 37 in Al Hoceima, 32 in M'diq-Fnideq, 28 in Larache, 8 in Chefchaouen, 4 in Al Fahs Anjra and 3 in Ouazzane.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 205 cases: 85 in Salé, 47 in Skhirat-Témara, 20 in Sidi Kacem, 18 in Khemisset, 17 in Rabat, 14 in Kénitra and 4 in Sidi Slimane. 132 new infections were recorded in Souss-Massa: 69 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 21 in Inzegane-Aït Melloul, 14 in Chtouka-Ait Baha, 13 in Tata, 9 in Tiznit and 6 in Taroudant.
Marrakech-Safi confirmed 132 cases: 67 in Marrakech, 26 in Essaouira, 10 in Youssoufia, 9 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 6 in Chichaoua, 4 in Safi, 3 in Al Haouz and 3 in Rhamna. The Oriental region recorded 76 infections: 36 in Berkane, 19 in Oujda-Angad, 16 in Nador, 2 in Jerada, 2 in Driouch and 1 in Guercif.
45 cases were confirmed in Fès-Meknes (18 in Fez, 10 in Meknes, 10 in Taza, 3 in Sefrou, 2 in Ifrane, 1 in Taounate and 1 in El Hajeb), 37 in Drâa- Tafilalet (13 in Errachidia, 8 in Midelt, 7 in Zagora, 5 in Tinghir and 4 in Ouarzazate) as well as 34 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra (17 in Fqih Bensaleh, 7 in Khénifra, 8 in Beni Mellal and 2 in Khouribga ).
25 infections were confirmed Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (20 in Laâyoune, 2 in Boujdour, 2 in Tarfaya and 1 in Es-Smara), 17 cases in Guelmim-Oued Noun (11 in Tan Tan and 6 in Guelmim) and 14 in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
