1,171 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 442,141.
2,530 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 412,168.
27 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 7,452. 8 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 5 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 3 in Souss-Massa, 3 in Marrakech-Safi, 2 in Khénifra-Béni Mellal, 2 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma , 2 in Fès-Meknes, 1 in the Oriental, 1 in Drâa-Tafilalet, 1 in Guelmim-Oued Noun and one in Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra.
The country has 22,521 active cases, including 1,104 in critical conditions. 88 of them are on ventilators.
The region of Casablanca-Settat leads with 381 cases: 286 in Casablanca, 37 in El Jadida, 22 in Mohammedia, 11 in Nouaceur, 9 in Berrechid, 6 in Médiouna, 6 in Benslimane and 4 in Settat. Then comes Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma with 215 infections: 93 in Tanger-Assilah, 41 Al Hoceïma, 29 in Tetouan, 23 in M'diq-Fnideq, 18 in Larache, 9 in Chefchaouen and 2 in Ouezzane.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra follows with 145 cases: 41 in Salé, 36 in Skhirat-Témara, 27 in Kénitra, 19 in Rabat, 10 in Sidi Slimane, 6 in Khémisset and 6 in Sidi Kacem. Souss-Massa has for its part 120 cases: 64 in Agadir Ida Ou Tanane, 22 in Inezgane Aït Melloul, 11 in Taroudant, 10 in Chtouka Aït Baha, 9 in Tiznit and 4 Tata.
Marrakech-Safi recorded 79 new cases: 36 in Marrakech, 20 in Essaouira, 9 in Kelâa des Sraghna, 5 in Youssoufia, 5 in Rehamna and 4 in Chichaoua. The Oriental region follows with 63 cases: 24 in Nador, 17 in Oujda-Angad, 16 in Berkane, 3 in Taourirt, 2 in Driouch and 1 in Jerada.
Beni Mellal-Khénifra found 54 new infections: 26 in Fkih Bensalah, 12 in Azilal, 8 in Khénifra, 7 in Khouribga and 1 in Beni Mellal. Fès-Meknes recorded 43 cases in the last 24 hours: 17 in Fès, 10 in Sefrou, 8 in Meknès, 5 in Taza and 3 in Boulemane.
Guelmim-Oued Noun also identified 37 infections: 15 in Sidi Ifni, 12 in Tan Tan and 10 in Guelmim. Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab has identified 18 new cases, all in Oued Ed-Dahab. Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra has for its part confirmed 10 cases: 5 in Laâyoune and 5 in Boujdour. Lastly, in Drâa-Tafilalet, 7 cases were confirmed: 6 in Midelt and 1 in Errachidia.
