The American Jewish Committee's (AJC) young professionals network ACCESS signed, Tuesday, a memorandum of understanding with the Mimouna Association, an NGO based in Morocco, to promote ties between young Americans, Israelis and Moroccans.

According to Jerusalem Post, this agreement will focus on the importance of Jewish heritage, Moroccan identity and culture.

The two sides will organize virtual conferences on Jewish heritage in addition to regional cooperation initiatives, the same source reported, adding that videos will be created for this purpose in both English and Arabic.

AJC delegations have attended and held numerous conferences with the Mimouna Association in Morocco in recent years. AJC also holds an international association agreement with the Council of Jewish community of Morocco (CCIM), which is the coordinating body of the Moroccan Jewish community.
