1,637 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 445,439.
1,736 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 416,708.
43 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 7,581. 10 of these deaths were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, 7 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 7 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 5 in the Oriental, 4 in Fès-Meknès, 4 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 3 in Marrakech-Safi, 2 in Souss-Massa and 1 in Drâa-Tafilalet.
The country has 21,150 active cases, including 1,139 in critical conditions. 77 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 718 infections: 551 in Casablanca, 37 in Settat, 34 in Mohammedia, 31 in Berrechid, 28 in Nouaceur, 16 in El Jadida, 13 in Mediouna and 8 in Benslimane. Next comes Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma with 315 new cases: 170 in Tanger-Assilah, 66 in Tétouan, 40 in Al Hoceima, 18 in M'diq-Fnideq, 12 in Larache, 8 in Chefchaouen and 1 in Fahs Anjra.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra recorded 218 cases: 72 in Salé, 71 in Skhirat-Témara, 42 in Kénitra, 16 in Sidi Kacem, 9 in Sidi Slimane and 8 in Rabat. 173 new infections were confirmed in Souss-Massa: 44 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 17 in Taroudant, 13 in Chtouka-Ait Baha, 10 in Inzegane-Aït Melloul, 7 in Tiznit, and 1 in Tata .
Marrakech-Safi recorded 88 cases: 55 in Marrakech, 8 in Essaouira, 8 in Safi, 8 in Youssoufia, 3 in Chichaoua, 3 in Al Haouz and 3 in Rhamna. Fès-Meknes recorded 46 infections: 21 in Fez, 11 in Meknes, 7 in Taounate, 4 in Taza and 3 in Sefrou.
44 cases were confirmed in Drâa-Tafilalet (16 in Ouarzazate, 12 in Zagora, 12 in Errachidia, 3 in Midelt and 1 in Tinghir), 44 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra (25 in Beni Mellal, 10 in Khouribga, 6 in Fqih Bensaleh, 2 in Azilal and 1 in Khénifra) and 31 in the Oriental region (11 in Oujda-Angad, 11 in Nador, 3 in Berkane, 3 in Driouch, 2 in Figuig and 1 in Taourirt ).
In the southern provinces, 20 infections were confirmed in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab), 13 in Guelmim-Oued Noun (8 in Guelmim, 3 in Sidi Ifni and 2 in Tan Tan) and 8 in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (4 in Boujdour, 2 in Tarfaya, 1 in Laâyoune and 1 in Es-Smara).
