1,152 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 462,542.
1,329 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 437,955.
32 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 8,043. 15 of these deaths were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, 5 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 4 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 2 in the Oriental, 2 in Marrakech-Safi, 2 in Fès-Meknès, 1 in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra and 1 in Guelmim-Oued Noun.
The country has 16,544 active cases, including 865 in critical conditions. 65 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 420 infections: 338 in Casablanca, 34 in Mohammedia, 20 in Nouaceur, 7 in Berrechid, 7 in El Jadida, 7 in Mediouna, 4 in Settat and 3 in Benslimane. Next comes Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma with 234 new cases: 133 in Tanger-Assilah, 30 in Tétouan, 29 in Larache, 22 in Chefchaouen, 11 in M'diq-Fnideq, 6 in Al Hoceima, 2 in Ouazzane and 1 in Fahs Anjra.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra follows with 142 cases: 44 in Salé, 39 in Skhirat-Témara, 27 in Rabat, 25 in Kénitra, 5 in Khemisset, 1 in Sidi Kacem and 1 in Sidi Slimane. 105 new infections were confirmed in the Oriental region: 35 in Berkane, 27 in Oujda-Angad, 27 in Nador, 9 in Driouch, 3 in Taourirt, 2 in Guercif, 1 in Figuig and 1 in Jerada.
Souss-Massa recorded 78 cases: 49 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 10 in Inzegane-Aït Melloul, 7 in Taroudant, 6 in Chtouka-Ait Baha, 5 in Tiznit and 1 in Tata. Marrakech-Safi recorded 54 infections: 39 in Marrakech, 7 in Essaouira, 3 in Rhamna, 3 in Kelaa des Sraghna and 2 in Chichaoua.
51 confirmed cases in Fès-Meknes (18 in Fez, 10 in Meknes, 10 in Taounate, 5 in Taza, 5 in El Hajeb and 1 in Ifrane), 25 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra (10 in Beni Mellal, 9 in Khouribga, 4 in Fqih Bensaleh, 1 in Azilal and 1 in Khénifra) and 16 in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (12 in Laâyoune and 4 in Boujdour).
12 infections were confirmed in Drâa-Tafilalet (5 in Ouarzazate, 5 in Tinghir, 3 in Midelt, 2 in Zagora and 1 in Errachidia), 8 in Guelmim-Oued Noun (6 in Guelmim, 1 in Tan Tan and 1 in Sidi Ifni) and 3 in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
