King Mohammed VI received, Wednesday at the royal palace in Fez, Emirati Foreign Affairs Minister Abdellah Ben Zayed, who was carrying a message from the Crown Prince Mohamed Ben Zayed.
During this meeting, the talks focused on bilateral relations between the two countries, MAP reported. The King’s adviser Fouad Ali El Himma and Foreign Affairs Minister Nasser Bourita attended the hearing.

This meeting comes as Joe Biden was sworn in as President of the United States. The United Arab Emirates was the first Arab country to establish diplomatic relations with Israel in August 2020. Morocco joined the group on December 10.
