The Israeli government approved, Sunday, the normalization agreement to improve ties with Morocco, the fourth Arab country to normalize relations with Israel under a foreign policy launched by the former Trump administration. According to Jerusalem Post, this agreement will now be submitted to the Knesset for ratification.

Last month, Morocco signed an agreement, brokered in 2020 by the Trump administration of former US President Donald Trump, with Israel, like the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Sudan.

«Morocco has enjoyed bilateral benefits from Washington with US recognition of its sovereignty over Western Sahara».

Since the visit of an Israeli-American delegation to Morocco in December and the signing of a Joint Declaration between the three countries, normalization between Morocco and Israel has advanced at high speed, with bilateral and multilateral meetings between ministers from the two governments.
