Morocco : 40 vehicles collide on the Marrakech-Casablanca highway

Traffic was disrupted, Monday morning, at the motorway linking Marrakech to Casablanca due to an accident that occurred near the city of Berrechid.

According to Noon Press and social media posts, around 40 vehicles, a bus and a truck were involved and damaged in the accident. Dense fog and speed are likely behind said accident.

The number of people injured in the accident is not known. The injured were transferred by civil protection ambulances to the emergency department of the Berrechid regional hospital to receive first aid.
