A house at the ancient medina in Casablanca collapsed, Wednesday, local authorities at the Casablanca-Anfa prefecture announced. The incident caused the partial collapse of a neighboring building.

The same source reported that the building in question was empty at the time of the incident. «As soon as they were informed of the accident, the local authorities and fire fighters rushed to the neighborhood to secure neighboring houses», it added.
