Covid-19 : The vaccination campaign to cover all health workers in Morocco

The Health Ministry decided, Wednesday, to start the vaccination of health workers aged 40 and under after others aged 40 and older received their first shots of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine.

A press release by the Meknes health delegation, Yabiladi had access to, announces that the vaccination campaign against Covid-19 is now open to all health personnel, without specifying their age. It called on health workers to «go to the vaccination centers on Wednesday and Thursday February 10 and 11, 2021». 

For its part, the Hassan II university hospital in Fez published an announcement, informing all of its staff that it was decided to have all its health workers «receive their first dose of the vaccine». The announcement indicates that this process will start tomorrow, Thursday February 11, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

For the record, King Mohammed VI launched, Thursday, January 28, at the Royal Palace in Fez, the national vaccination campaign against the Covid-19, after Morocco received two batches of AstraZeneca and Sinopharm vaccines.
