Algeria’s official news agency unintentionally recognizes Morocco’s sovereignty over the Sahara

Hungry for spreading news hostile to the territorial integrity of Morocco, the Algerian Press Agency (APS) recognized, Tuesday, Morocco’s sovereignty over the Sahara.

The article was dedicated to the recent statements of the US Department of State Spokesman Ned Price on the US recognition of Morocco’s sovriegnty over the Sahara.

The American official announced that his country «supports the UN process to implement a just and lasting solution to this long-standing dispute».

The article was later updated and the sentence in question was replaced by another one that suits the foreign policy of Algeria towards Morocco.
