Morocco received, on Wednesday, 1 million additional doses of the anti-Covid vaccine from Sinopharm. A Royal Air Maroc plane landed in Casablanca from China, according to sources from the Ministry of Health, cited by media.
With this delivery, Morocco has so far received 2 million doses manufactured by the Chinese laboratory, divided into three batches.
The reception of this new batch comes as the Serum Institute of India, the Kingdom's supplier of AstraZeneca vaccines, called on Sunday its international customers to be patient, explaining that foreign deliveries may suffer delays as they plan to address domestic demand first. Morocco has received 6 million doses of said vaccine.
