386 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 482,514. 3,160,479 people have received the vaccine against Covid-19, while 43,626 received their second shot.
726 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 467,541.
6 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 8,598. 3 of these deaths were recorded in the Oriental region, 1 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 1 in Marrakech-Safi and 1 in Souss-Massa.
The country has 6,375 active cases, including 453 in critical conditions. 30 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 204 infections: 168 in Casablanca, 13 in Nouaceur, 11 in Mohammedia, 5 in Berrechid, 3 in Settat, 3 in Médiouna and 1 in El Jadida. Next comes the Oriental region with 65 cases: 28 in Oujda-Angad, 16 in Nador, 9 in Berkane, 7 in Driouch, 3 in Taourirt, 1 in Figuig and 1 in Jerada.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima follows with 40 cases: 18 in Tanger-Assilah, 7 in M'Diq-Fnideq, 5 in Larache, 4 in Tétouan, 4 in Al Hoceima, 1 in Ouazzane and 1 in Chefchaouen. 27 infections were recorded in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra: 7 in Skhirat-Témara, 7 in Kénitra, 6 in Rabat, 2 in Sale, 2 in Sidi Slimane, 2 in Khemisset and 1 in Sidi Kacem.
Marrakech-Safi confirmed 16 cases: 13 in Marrakech, 2 in Chichaoua and 1 in Essaouira. Souss-Massa recorded 11 infections: 7 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 1 in Taroudant, 1 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul, 1 in Chtouka Ait Baha and 1 in Tiznit.
7 cases were recorded in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab), 6 in Drâa-Tafilalet (2 in Tinghir, 1 in Midelt, 1 in Zagora, 1 in Errachidia and 1 in Ouarzazate) and 5 in Fès-Meknes (2 in Fez, 2 in Meknes and 1 in Taza).
The Beni Mellal-Khénifra region recorded 3 new cases (1 in Khouribga, 1 in Beni Mellal and 1 in Khénifra) and two were confirmed in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (1 in Laâyoune and 1 in Tarfaya).
