Expected to visit Morocco on Friday, February 26, to meet Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita, the new Libyan Prime Minister Abdel Hamid Dbeibah postponed his trip. He «apologized» for this postponement that is due to «domestic affairs» in Libya, adding that he would respond to the invitation «as soon as possible».

The Moroccan Foreign Ministry confirmed the visit of the Speaker of the Libyan Parliament, Aqila Saleh, who is due to meet with the Moroccan foreign minister, Friday, before hosting a press briefing.

The new Libyan Prime Minister, chosen at the beginning of February, announced yesterday that his ministerial training proposal has been sent to the House of Representatives for a vote of confidence, in order to assume office and prepare for general elections at the end of next December.

On February 12, during an interview with Nasser Bourita, Abdel Hamid Ddeibah hailed Morocco's renewed determination to continue supporting national reconciliation in his country.
