A dreamliner deployed by Royal Air Maroc landed on Saturday night at the Beijing airport, China. This Sunday, the plane is expected to transport a new shipment of vaccines from Sinopharm to the kingdom.
«The dreamliner B787-9 landed in Beijing at around 12:38 a.m. local time (5:38 p.m. Moroccan time), after flying over Spain, Italy, Austria, Slovakia, Poland, Belarus, Russia and finally Mongolia», writes Le360.
The plane is expected to land at the Mohammed V airport in Casablanca, on the morning of Sunday, March 7, 2021, the same source reported, adding that for the time being, «nothing is yet filtering as to the number of expected doses».
From China, Morocco has so far received only one million doses of Sinopharm's vaccine, out of a global order of 40 million doses. The kingdom had taken part in the clinical trials of the Chinese laboratory.
