«Sputnik V is one of the most effective and highly demanded vaccine against coronavirus in the world. It is approved in 48 countries and we appreciate the positive decision by our partners in Morocco», said Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of the Russian sovereign wealth fund.
The same source also lists the advantages of this vaccine developed against Covid-19, recalling that it has an efficacy of 91.6% and it «uses two different vectors for the two shots in a course of vaccination, providing immunity with a longer duration than vaccines using the same delivery mechanism for both shots».
Yesterday, the National Technical and Scientific Advisory Committee on Immunization gave the green light to the Johnson & Johnson and Sputnik V vaccines.
