569 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 492,403. 4,265,196 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 2,593,204 people have received the second.
543 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 480,100.
6 deaths were recorded in Morocco in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19-related deaths to 8,775. 3 of these deaths were recorded in Casablanca-Settat, 1 in Marrakech-Safi, 1 in Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab and 1 in the Oriental region.
The country has 3,528 active cases, including 411 in critical conditions. 23 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 434 infections: 342 in Casablanca, 31 in Nouaceur, 30 in Mohammedia, 9 in Settat, 7 in Benslimane, 6 in Berrechid, 5 in El Jadida and 4 in Mediouna. Next comes Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima with 28 cases: 14 in Tanger-Assilah, 6 in Larache, 5 in M'diq-Fnideq, 2 in Chefchaouen and 1 in Al Hoceima.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra follows with 24 cases: 9 in Skhirat-Témara, 5 in Kénitra, 4 in Rabat, 3 in Salé, 2 in Khemisset and 1 in Sidi Slimane. 21 infections were identified in Marrakech-Safi: 14 in Marrakech, 4 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 2 in Essaouira and 1 in Safi.
Beni-Mellal-Khénifra recorded 16 new cases: 9 in Khouribga, 5 in Beni Mellal, 1 in Khénifra and 1 in Fqih Bensaleh. The province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab) recorded 10 new infections.
There are also 10 confirmed cases in Souss-Massa (4 in Tiznit, 3 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane and 3 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul), 9 in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (6 in Laâyoune and 3 in Es-Smara) as well as 6 in the Oriental region (3 in Nador, 2 in Oujda-Angad and 1 in Berkane) and 6 in Drâa-Tafilalet (2 in Errachidia, 2 in Zagora, 1 in Tinghir and 1 in Midelt).
4 infections were confirmed in Fès-Meknes (2 in Boulmane, 1 in Meknes and 1 in Fez) and one in Sidi Ifni (Guelmim-Oued Noun).
