The Moroccan government has decided to extend by two weeks, starting from Tuesday March 30 at 9 pm, the nighttime curfew adopted on January 13 to avoid the spread of the new coronavirus (Covid-19) .
A government press release indicates that this decision is based on the recommendations of the Scientific and Technical Commission, which stressed the need of maintaining the necessary measures to combat the spread of the coronavirus.
This extension also comes after the evolution of this pandemic on a global level, following the appearance of new variants of the virus.
