Spain : La Liga features Dakhla in a video about Morocco

The Clásico between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona will take place on Saturday April 10 in the Spanish capital. Two days before the match, the Professional Football League published a four-minute video to promote the game. In said video, the team travels across five continents to choose 27 cities.

Dakhla, in southern Morocco, was one of the cities featured in the video. The flags of the two clubs were hoisted on the city's famous «White Dune».

LaLiga delegate in Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia, Ignacio Gómez, welcomed the close collaboration with the Regional Tourism Council (CRT) of Dakhla Oued-Eddahab to make this video.

This integration of Dakhla into the map of Morocco by the Spanish Professional Football League was preceded by the visit to Laayoune and Dakhla, last March, of Maria Tato, entrepreneur and director of women's football within the football Federation in Spain. During this trip, she was accompanied by the sports director of the Athletico de Bilbao women's football.
