France’s LaREM party creates committee in Dakhla

La Republique en Marche (LaREM) MP Marie-Christine Verdier-Jouclas, vice-president of the France-Morocco friendship group and spokesperson for the LaREM group at the National Assembly and Jaoued Boussakouran, LaREM Maghreb and West Africa referent announced, Thursday, the creation of an LaREM committee in Dakhla and Agadir.

The creation of these new committees is meant to strengthen the «network» of the presidential majority party LaREM in the Maghreb and West Africa, they said in a statement.

These two committees are the first to be created in 2021 by LREM, which is celebrating its fifth anniversary. In Dakhla, it will be led by Claude Fraissinet, while that of Agadir will be headed by Guy Picard.

Welcoming the creation of these two committees, which come to «enrich» La République En Marche and «consolidate the networking of our movement in the Maghreb and West Africa», the two politicians were delighted «particularly by the creation of the LREM committee in Dakhla, located in the southern provinces of Morocco».
