Covid-19 in Morocco : 596 new infections and 7 deaths on Thursday

596 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 504,260. 4,554,000 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 4,174,449 people have received the second.

438 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 490,366.

7 deaths were recorded in Morocco in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19-related deaths to 8,927. 2 of these deaths were recorded in in Casablanca-Settat, 2 in Guelmim-Oued Noun1 in Marrakech-Safi and 1 inLaayoune-Sakia El Hamra and 1 in Dakhla-Oued Edahab.

The country has 4,967 active cases, including 438 in critical conditions. 16 of them are on ventilators.
