The Turkish embassy in Rabat announced on Thursday the organization of exceptional flights to repatriate Turkish nationals stranded in Morocco. On its Facebook page, the diplomatic representation said in a statement that these flights operated by Turkish Airlines, are scheduled for Saturday April 24 and Thursday April 29 from Mohammed V airport in Casablanca.

The press release insists on the need to be present at the airport 3 hours before takeoff time and to obtain an authorization to leave the territory issued by the Moroccan authorities in order to benefit from these exceptional flights. The same source recalls that people who already have Turkish Airlines tickets can make requests to change dates and benefit from these flights.

The embassy indicates that third-country nationals, present in Morocco for tourism, studies or work, and who can no longer return to Turkey or their countries, can also book these exceptional flights. It recalls that all travelers over the age of 6 are required to present a negative PCR test carried 72 hours before taking these flights, in addition to filling out an online form to access Turkish territory.
