Expected to compete in two youth world-boxing championships, held in Poland in April, two Moroccan boxers have reportedly fled. According to sources close to the national team, the two boxers are Reda Bouyahyaoui (60 kg) and Ilyas Belmlih (75 kg).

The two boxers would have fled once they arrived at the place of residence of the national team, the same sources added.

Hamza Saadi (49 kg), Yassine Knitri (52 kg), Aymane Khanchaf (64 kg), Zouhir Khiraoui (69 kg), Mohammed Bouhmada (91 kg), Salma Lerlali (51 kg) and Hajar Bahdi (57 kg) represent the kingdom in these championships, in addition to the two boxers.

A technical staff including the coach Abdelhak Achik, the manager Nabil Menyam and the technical director of the national teams, Mounir El Barbouchi, supervises the national team.

Two years ago, Moroccan boxers Yassine Bendada (less 52 kg) and Abdelaziz El Madini (less 56 kg) left their team once in Poland to join Germany.
