326 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 509,363. 4,723,635 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 4,217,485 people have received the second.
390 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 495,262.
4 deaths were recorded in Morocco in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19-related deaths to 8,992. 2 of these deaths were recorded in Casablanca-Settat, 1 in Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra and 1 in Guelmim-Oued Noun.
The country has 5,109 active cases, including 397 in critical conditions. 15 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 190 cases: 154 in Casablanca, 12 in El Jadida, 11 in Médiouna, 6 in Berrechid, 3 in Nouaceur, 3 in Mohammedia and 1 in Settat. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra follows with 41 cases: 21 in Skhirat-Témara, 9 in Sidi Kacem, 15 in Salé, 7 in Rabat, 3 in Kénitra and 1 in Salé.
Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra confirmed 21 cases: 16 in Laâyoune, 3 in Tarfaya and 2 in Boujdour. Marrakech-Safi follows with 20 cases: 13 in Marrakech, 2 in Safi, 1 in Kelâa des Sraghna, 1 in Rehamna, 1 in Essaouira, 1 in Chichaoua, 1 in Al Haouz. Souss-Massa follows with 17 new cases: 10 in Agadir-Ida Ou Tanane, 4 in Inzegane-Aït Melloul, 1 in Taroudant, 1 in Tiznit and 1 Chtouka Aït Baha.
12 infections were recorded in Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab, all in Oued Ed-Dahab. The Oriental region recorded 10 cases: 5 in Oujda-Angad, 3 in Nador and 2 in Driouch. Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma recorded 6 new infections: 3 in M'diq-Fnidek, 2 in Tétouan and 1 in Tanger-Assilah.
Drâa-Tafilalet recorded 5 cases: 4 in Tinghir and 1 in Midelt. Beni Mellal-Khénifra confirmed 2 cases to Beni Mellal. Fès-Meknes confirmed 2 cases: 1 in Fez and 1 in Sefrou.
