The police arrested, Friday, a Moroccan who has been living in Castellón (Spain) since 2002 on suspicion of murdering six members of his family in February in Morocco, where he has been wanted since the discovery of the lifeless bodies in Salé.
The first elements of the investigation indicate the man would have stabbed to death his brother, his sister-in-law, their children and two minor grandchildren while they were sleeping, before setting fire to the house. Disputes related to the inheritance would be behind this crime.
Spanish press reported Sunday that investigations began in Spain a week ago. The Moroccan authorities collaborated their counterparts, which managed to locate the fugitive. He was arrested when leaving his home and heading for his car.
A phone conversation indicates that before moving to action, he threatened his brother and his family, stating that he would kill them all at night.
