Vaccination against Covid-19 in Morocco extended to 55-60 year olds

The Ministry of Health announced on Monday its decision to extend, from Tuesday April 27, 2021, the vaccination operation against Covid-19 to citizens aged between 55 and 60 years. In a press release, the ministry urged «all citizens from this age group to continue participating in this major national workshop, with the aim of achieving collective immunity».

In this sense, the ministry invites them to send an SMS to 1717 or to go to the online portal www.liqahcorona.ma to obtain the date and their place of vaccination.

The Ministry of Health «also stresses the need of respecting preventive measures, before, during and after vaccination», the press release concludes.

It is worth mentioning that Morocco received, on Sunday night, a new batch of 500,000 doses of the Sinopharm vaccine.
