102 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 509,465. 4,731,440 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 4,219,876 people have received the second.
146 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 495,408.
7 deaths were recorded in Morocco in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19-related deaths to 8,999. 5 of these deaths were recorded in Casablanca-Settat, 1 in Marrakech-Safi and 1 in the Oriental region.
The country has 5,058 active cases, including 400 in critical conditions. 15 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 48 cases: 43 in Casablanca and 5 in Nouaceur. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 20 cases: 7 in Rabat, 7 in Salé, 5 in Skhirat-Témara and 1 in Kénitra. Marrakech-Safi follows with 11 cases: 8 in Marrakech and 3 in Al Haouz. 9 infections were recorded in Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab, all in Oued Ed-Dahab.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma recorded 4 new infections: 2 in Tanger-Assilah, 1 in Al Hoceïma and 1 in Chefchaouen. The Oriental region recorded 3 cases: 2 in Driouch and 1 in Oujda-Angad. Souss-Massa follows with 3 new cases: 2 in Chtouka Aït Baha and 1 in Agadir-Ida Ou Tanane.
Beni Mellal-Khénifra confirmed 2 cases: 1 in Khouribga and 1 in Khénifra. Fès-Meknes confirmed 2 in Ifrane.
