294 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 511,856. 5,055,239 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 4,260,605 people have received the second.
284 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 498,415.
2 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 9,028. 1 death was recorded in Casablanca-Settat while 1 other was recorded in Drâa-Tafilalet.
The country has 4,413 active cases, including 328 in critical conditions. 25 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 183 cases: 140 in Casablanca, 20 in Nouaceur, 13 in Médiouna, 7 in El Jadida and 3 in Berrechid. Next comes Marrakech-Safi with 50 cases: 48 in Marrakech and 2 in Rhamna.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra follows with 23 cases: 12 in Kénitra, 9 in Skhirat-Témara and 2 in Rabat. 16 infections were recorded in Souss-Massa: 11 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 4 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul and 1 in Tiznit.
The Oriental region confirmed 9 new infections: 4 in Oujda-Angad, 3 in Guercif, 1 in Taourirt and 1 in Figuig. Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma recorded 4 cases: 3 in Ouazzane and 1 in Tanger-Assilah.
4 cases were confirmed in Beni-Mellal-Khénifra (2 in Azilal, 1 in Khouribga and 1 in Beni Mellal), 2 in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab) , 1 infection in Ouarzazate (Drâa-Tafilalet), 1 in Laâyoune (Laâyoune-Sakia Et Hamra) and 1 in Guelmim (Guelmim-Oued Noun).
