Covid-19 in Morocco : 373 new infections and 6 deaths on Tuesday

373 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 512,285. 5,177,964 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 4,303,826 people have received the second.

465 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 499,089.

6 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 9,038. 4 of these deaths were recorded in Casablanca-Settat, 1 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 1 in Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra and 1 in Beni Mella-Khénifra.

The country has 4,158 active cases, including 303 in critical conditions. 18 of them are on ventilators.

Casablanca-Settat recorded 276 cases: 226 in Casablanca, 17 in Mohammedia, 11 in Settat, 6 in Nouaceur, 6 El Jadida, 5 in Médiouna, 3 in Berrechid and 2 in Benslimane. Souss-Massa recorded 20 cases: 10 in Inezgane-Aït Melloul, 4 in Tiznit, 2 in Taroudant, 2 in Agadir-Ida Ou Tanane and 2 in Chtouka-Aït Baha.

Marrakech-Safi follows with 17 cases: 13 in Marrakech, 2 in Chichaoua, 1 in Youssoufia and 1 in Safi. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 15 cases: 4 in Rabat, 4 in Skhirat-Témara, 4 in Salé, 2 in Kénitra and 1 in Sidi Slimane. Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceïma follows with 12 cases: 5 in Tangier-Assilah, 5 in Ouezzane, 1 in Tetouan and 1 in Larache.

Beni Mellal-Khénifra confirmed 7 cases, all in Khouribga. 7 infections were recorded in Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab, all in Oued Ed-Dahab. Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra recorded 7 cases in Laâyoune. The Oriental region confirmed 6 cases: 4 in Driouch, 1 in Oujda-Angad and 1 in Nador. Guelmim-Oued Noun recorded 4 in Guelmim. Drâa-Tafilalet recorded 2 cases : 1 in Zagora and 1 in Ouarzazate.
