«Brahim Ghali has not been summoned by the Spanish justice», the Polisario insists

To the Polisario Front, reports on the hearing of Brahim Ghali by a Spanish investigating judge are not true. The Front’s representative in Algiers, Abdelkader Taleb Omar, denied on Tuesday, May 4, reports on «the alleged summoning» of the leader of the Polisario, estimating that «Morocco is leading a campaign of disinformation, provocation and blackmail against Spain» in order «to induce Madrid to rebel against international law».

Similarly, sources within the Polisario leadership in Tindouf denied the same information, stressing that Ghali was not summoned by the Spanish justice.

This denial comes as the Spanish justice has confirmed the postponement of Ghali's hearing to Friday, May 7.
