236 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 513,864. 5,473,809 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 4,390,752 people have received the second.
374 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 500,914.
8 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 9,072. 3 of these deaths were recorded in Casablanca-Settat, 2 in Souss-Massa, 1 in Marrakech-Safi, 1 in Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra and 1 in Fès-Meknes.
The country has 3,878 active cases, including 241 in critical conditions. 19 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 151 cases: 113 in Casablanca, 14 in Nouaceur, 12 in Médiouna, 5 in Mohammedia, 5 in Berrechid and 2 in El Jadida. Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra recorded 21 cases: 20 in Laâyoune and 1 in Boujdour.
Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 17 cases: 6 in Sale, 5 in Kénitra, 4 in Rabat, 1 in Sidi Kacem and 1 in Sidi Slimane. Marrakech-Safi follows with 14 cases, all in Marrakech. Souss-Massa recorded 12: 11 in Agadir-Ida Ou Tanane and 1 in Chtouka-Aït Baha.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma follows with 11 cases: 3 in Tanger-Assilah, 3 in Ouezzane, 2 in Chefchaouen, 2 in M'diq-Fnideq and 1 in Larache.
Fès-Meknes confirmed 5: 3 in Fez and 2 in Ifrane. Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab identified 3, all of them in Oued Ed-Dahab. Beni Mellal-Khénifra confirmed 4: 1 in Khouribga and 1 in Azilal.
