The Polisario’s representative in Europe rejected the recent declaration of Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita, who accused Iran of providing militarily support to the movement of Brahim Ghali. «It is a lie and without foundation», underlined Oubi Bouchraya El Bachir, in a press release published on Sunday, May 9th.

He reiterated, on this occasion, the Front's refusal of the «allegations» of the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, asking the latter to «provide evidence» attesting to Iran's armed support for the Polisario. A request already made by the same person, after Morocco announced that had cut ties with Tehran, on May 1, 2018.

El Bashir's reaction is perfectly in line with the rejection on Saturday of the spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry. He also denounced «the baseless accusations» of Nasser Bourita.

It is worth mentioning that Iran has recognized the «Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR)» since February 27, 1980.
