Covid-19 in Morocco : More than 6 million people vaccinated as of Friday

35 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 514,705. 6,040,109 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 4,450,986 people have received the second.

399 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 502,604.

1 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 9,092. This death was recorded in Marrakech-Safi.

The country has 3,009 active cases, including 207 in critical conditions. 13 of them are on ventilators.

Casablanca-Settat recorded 23 cases: 20 in Casablanca, 2 in El Jadida and 1 in Benslimane. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 4 cases: 2 in Skhirat-Témara and 2 Rabat.

Marrakech-Safi follows with 4 cases: 2 in Safi, 1 in Chichaoua and 1 in Kelaa des Sraghna. 2 infections were recorded in Inzegane-Ait Melloul (Souss Massa).

This is also a confirmed case in Tétouan (Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima) and another in Oujda-Angad (Oriental).
