112 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 514,817. 6,171,437 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 4,500,638 people have received the second.
280 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 502,884.
6 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 9,098. 4 of these deaths were recorded in Casablanca-Settat, 1 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra and 1 in Marrakech-Safi.
The country has 2,895 active cases, including 211 in critical conditions. 13 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 70 cases: 62 in Casablanca, 3 in Nouaceur, 2 in Settat, 1 in El Jadida, 1 in Médiouna and 1 in Benslimane. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 13 cases: 6 in Rabat, 5 in Skhirat-Témara and 2 in Salé
Marrakech-Safi follows with 10 cases: 7 in Marrakech, 2 in Al Haouz and 1 in Kelaa des Sraghna. 8 infections were recorded in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane (Souss Massa).
5 confirmed cases were recorded in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab), 3 cases in the Oriental region (1 in Oujda-Angad, 1 in Driouch and 1 in Taourirt) as well as 3 in Ouarzazate (Drâa-Tafilalet).
