The head of the Israeli liaison office in Rabat has left Morocco. On his Twitter account, David Govrin explained that he was forced to travel to Israel to be with his father who is in the hospital. The diplomat said that he would return to Morocco right after the celebration of Shavuot, a Jewish holiday celebrated this year between May 16 and May 18.

In Morocco, the authorities are urged to expulse David Govrin following Israeli aggressions against Palestinians in Al Quds, Gaza and the West Bank. A demand voiced by the group of the Democratic Confederation of Labor (CDT) to the Chamber of Councilors in an oral question addressed to the El Othmani government, Tuesday, May 11.

David Gorvin was appointed head of the Israeli liaison office in Rabat in January following the normalization of relations between Rabat and Tel Aviv.
