Covid-19 in Morocco : 363 new infections and 4 deaths on Saturday

363 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 516,812. 7,635,674 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 4,831,397 people have received the second.

293 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 505,050.

4 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 9,119. 2 of these deaths were recorded in Casablanca-Settat, 1 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra and 1 in Drâa-Tafilalet.

The country has 2,643 active cases, including 164 in critical conditions. 5 of them are on ventilators.

Casablanca-Settat recorded 205 cases: 154 in Casablanca, 11 in El Jadida, 10 in Berrechid, 9 in Nouaceur, 9 in Mohammedia, 4 in Settat, 4 in Benslimane, 2 in Médiouna and 2 in Sidi Bennour. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 48 cases: 23 in Sale, 9 in Rabat, 6 in Kénitra, 4 in Sidi Slimane, 4 in Skhirat-Témara and 2 in Sidi Kacem.

Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceïma confirmed 28: 15 in Ouezzane, 10 in Tangier-Assilah, 2 in Tetouan and 1 in M'diq-Fnidek. Marrakech-Safi follows with 27 cases: 22 in Marrakech, 3 in El Kelâa des Sraghna and 2 in Chichaoua. Souss-Massa recorded 21:20 in Agadir-Ida Ou Tanane and 1 in Inezgane-Aït Melloul. Drâa-Tafilalet recorded 14: 10 in Errachidia, 2 in Zagora, 1 in Tinghir and 1 in Midelt.

Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab recorded 14 in Oued Ed-Dahab. Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra recorded 3 cases: 2 in Laâyoune and 1 in Boujdour. The Oriental region confirmed 1 in Oujda-Angad. Beni Mellal-Khénifra has 1 in Béni Mellal. Fès-Meknes follows with 1 case in Fez.
