Spain’s former Defense Minister José Bono addressed the diplomatic crisis between his country and Morocco. «Thanks to the Kingdom of Morocco, we have been able to arrests several radical islamists and avoid terrorist attacks», he told Spanish TV channel La Sexta.
Unlike members of the PSOE government, who accused Rabat of «blackmail», Bono said that «there are some (in Spain) who want Morocco to always be seen as the eternal enemy».
This statement joins the tweet of Javier Solana, former Minister of Foreign Affairs (1992-1995): «Our diplomacy with Morocco must be ‘finer’», he wrote.
