Covid-19 in Morocco : 310 new infections, number of vaccinated people reaches 8 million on Tuesday

310 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 517,432. 8,110,014 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 4,974,483 people have received the second.

276 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 505,668.

3 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 9,129.

The country has 2,626 active cases, including 173 in critical conditions. 5 of them are on ventilators.

In the Casablanca-Settat region 225 cases were recorded between Monday and Tuesday. In Rabat-Sala-Kenitra 29 infections were confirmed. ,

12 cases were found in Marrakesh-Safi, 11 in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima and 11 others in the Daraa-Tafilalet region.

Laayoune Sakia El Hamra had 5 infection, Dakhla-Ouadi al-Dahab recorded 4 and the Oriental region confirmed 4 infections.

3 cases were found in Souss Massa, 3 in Fez Meknes, 2 in Beni Mellal Khenifra  and 1 case in Guelmim Oued Noun.
